System and Software requirements:
– PC desktop or laptop with Windows 11
– DAW: Cubase 12 or 13, Nuendo 12 or 13
– Chameleon – Controller Designer software www.savethehuman5.com
– FHD 1920 x 1080 touch screen monitor, or laptop with touchscreen.
Installation steps:
– Install Cubase
– install Chameleon – Controller Designer software www.savethehuman5.com
– Run downloaded after purchase Phantom Surface installer
– In Cubase open Midi Remote Section, Click on the Plus Sign and chose Import Script.
Chose: Documents\Chameleon\Templates\Uxspectrum
and Import Cubase or Nuendo Midi Remote Script for Phantom Surface.
– Open the surface midi remote Window on the second deditacated screen in full screen mode.
Open Chemeleon on the same screen as the midi remote – go to load – chose Uxspectrum folder – then Phantom Surface – click load – activate template by providing user name and password you created during product purchase, click activate.
In Cubase in Studio Setup Add Mackie control – pick midi input – Chameleon-1, Leave Midi Output empty! – this is just for the jog control mapping.
